Lucas, just a note to say thank you for the pergola you built for us at Flagstaff Hill. Christine and I are absolutely delighted with the end result and so are all the people who have seen it. We feel as if we have 3 times the area than before and everything ties in beautifully to the back yard. We hired Lucas to build a large deck and were delighted with his professionalism and his exceptional attention to detail. The outcome was beautiful. At a later date we hired Lucas again to build a portico over that same deck. Once again the work was exceptional and the finished product first class. We hired Lucas to convert our garage into more bedrooms, study and a bathroom. We also utilised his skills with the design and council approvals. From the very beginning Lucas was professional, committed to our proposals and very knowledgeable. He took the stress out of all the technical aspects of the build so we could focus on creating the most out of our space. We selected Lucas to build our "retirement dream home" after he helped our daughter with some major urgent repairs. Yes- we paid a bit of a premium for using a small builder, but, the extra cost was more than compensated for by the quality build, attention to detail, and equally importantly, the professional, friendly relationship during the project. Yes there a couple of issues, but all were sorted out without fuss, and to our satisfaction. The build was done on time, and on budget. While we are pretty proud and pleased with our design and selections- Lucas worked well with us, and pulled it all together, and made it all work and it was a genuinely positive process. Its the finished product that now presents as (in our opinion!) a masterpiece. We love our new home!
More than 12 months after completion we are so pleased with the renovation. Lucas made our plans turn into reality with passion. A reasonably 'major' project including new ensuite,wc, laundry, bathroom, kitchen, living with significant re-roof, we felt confident Lucas had it all covered. The tradies were committed to a successful completion as was Lucas. Good communication throughout the project and usually everyday progress with minimal wondering when things were happening.
